  2. Dear Tony
are you "the man who can"? We have just had our compulsory ICP installed and it trips when we switch on more than 2 appliances!! I called Iberdrola and they explained about the Boletin, I called a local Spanish electrician and they said we needed to call Iberdrola first etc etc.......

  5. Would it be acceptable to install ICP then double pole main switch and then RCBOs for the outgoing circuits?

  6. Yes, but ensure the ICP is in a separate compartment or box to enable the supply company to seal

    Dear Tony!

thanks for the excellent post! I was wondering, I have just had the upgrade and have the bill for the various fees- I moved in and had to do this to get the electricity changed to my name. Does the landlady have to pay this- i received the Boletin from her. Thank you! kay

  8. I would expect the owner to pay for any works required and the Iberdrola charges for an upgrade because it is an improvement to the property. However, it does depend on your rental arrangement.
